I like to plan ahead. For most of you, this won’t come as a surprise.
So I’m thinking about my next phone, since (1) I’m not loving my current phone due to some problems with it, and (2) I really think I’d like my next phone to be a smart(er)phone.

A few weeks ago, I made the big switch from Windows to Mac. It’s something I’ve been talking about for a while now, and my boss graciously helped me by handing down his (about a year) old 15″ MacBook Pro as he traded up to a new one. (Thanks, Dave!)

This is what I saw when I logged into Gmail this morning:
Scary part is, I almost believed it … saying, wow, that seems like a really dicey idea!
The news of Microsoft’s hostile takeover bid for Yahoo has left me surprised, but personally and directly, I’m largely unaffected.
