It’s worth a nickel

So I have this new tool, that you might have noticed… it posts a summary of my twitter feed to this blog every Sunday.

I feel badly when two of them post in a row, because it means I haven’t done any real blogging that week.

I’m trying to at least alternate the automated posts with real posts, but the weeks are flying by and I don’t always find the time or have enough good stories to tell!

I’ve done a little work on this blog lately …

First, I added a tag cloud in the sidebar, because I’m thinking of discontinuing the categories completely in favor of the tags.

But most importantly, I migrated all the posts (and comments) from my old blog (on MySpace!) into this blog. If you’re so inclined, you can now catch up on some of my older posts from 2005-2007.

There’s a pretty obvious stylistic difference in the older posts, and some of them are kind of silly, but I didn’t feel right about just getting rid of them.

I’m gradually reducing my use of MySpace in favor of Facebook, and this consolidates more of my online content into fewer places as well as giving me a little more control.
