Der Lieblingssport is the favorite sport. It’s a compound word.
Der Lieblingssport von Fritz ist Radfahren. Fritz’s favorite sport is bicycling.
Gehören is a verb meaning to belong.
Diese Fahrrad gehört dem kleinen Schlingel. This bicycle belongs to the little rascal.
Sich verirren is a reflexible verb; it means to lose one’s way.
Der Tourist hat sich verirrt. The tourist has lost his way.
