If you’re the type of person who allows yourself to feel rejected or abandoned, you basically spend your life handing out baseball bats to people, and waiting for them to beat you about the head with them.
Maybe time to stop handing out the bats?

oh man, I’m itching over here to know what that’s about! And I completely agree with you. It’s like… if you do things to change your sitch then you’re allowed to complain if things still happen – but if you do nothing at all to take charge of what’s happening, you can’t whine about it – you dont’ care enough to do anything about it.
