i was driving on i-84 today and i passed a guy driving a toyota prius. because i like watching people, and because i’m interested in hybrid cars, i always try to scope out who’s driving a prius when i see one go by.
this one had a guy huffing and puffing on a cigarette and flicking his ashes out the window.
there’s a certain sense of irony in someone caring enough about the earth to drive a hybrid vehicle, yet not caring enough about the earth to refrain from flicking his ashes all over connecticut, and not caring enough about his own health to stop slowly poisoning himself.
One Response to ecological irony

Speaking of cars,
I fell in love with the Honda Fit over the weekend. I find it much more suitable for you and Paul than the CRV. No 4WD, but I don’t know how big of a priority that is for you. So roomy!! The seats can be moved around so much to create the kind of space you need. It fits a bike upright with no problems!!
